A collective exhibition bringing together works created during the 1st lockdown (17 March – 11 May 2020) due to the Covid-19 pandemic in France.

At the invitation of Valérie Coraini, a collective exhibition featuring the works of Alexis Alary, Julien Cabaton, Gianfranco Catania, Jean François Chapelle, Nicolas Claris, Romain Claris, Valérie Coraini, Dimitri Defermor, Fanny De Rauglaudre, Violaine Esnault, Bruno Falibois, Franck Feurté, Loëtitia Léo, Iris Miranda, Franck Munster, Laure Neumann, Camille Pélisson, Etienne Rolin, Rosae Rosam Rosie, Corinne Szabo, Pierre Touron.

Only the works of Nicolas Claris and Romain Claris are shown on this page. During the exhibition, the photographs were displayed as a mosaic (see the image at the top of this page).

The edit preserves the chronology of the shoot as well as the duration of each take. A sequence that follows the singular rhythm of a daily life in which some days feel longer, others shorter. The soundtrack, kept exactly as recorded, brings its own sense of time… Making room for the small, revealed nothings!

Nicolas Claris

In 2008, Sinar entrusted him with an HY6 for a year of intensive testing under extraordinary conditions. Now addicted to medium format (large sensors), Nicolas Claris became one of Pentax's rare ambassadors from 2012 to 2021.

In 2022, he switched to even more technologically advanced Fujifilm equipment — still medium format, with a 102-megapixel sensor delivering exceptional colour and image quality.

Romain Claris

Claris Image Builder — Video Director

Romain Claris has been creating short films since 2000, selected and awarded at over a hundred international film festivals. Graduate of the Conservatoire Libre du Cinéma Français in Paris, 2005.

In 2020, he co-founded the Bordeaux Shorts Biennale. In preparation for 2026: the documentary Les comptes de la lune, an alternative history of the invention of numbers and calculation.
