NOIRS (BLACKS)
This exhibition invites us to explore an oscillation between realism and fantasy, showing how blacks, born of the absence of light, highlight materials and details.
Far from being a simple hue, blacks come in a multitude of nuances in constant relation to their environment, revealing a fascinating plurality.
Nicolas Claris and Romain Claris invite the viewer to immerse themselves in this universe where each image stimulates the imagination and transports one into a world of personal and unsuspected dreams.
This is where the blacks really come into their own as revealing revelations, unveiling their mysteries and prompting an astonishing quest.
By rethinking the relationship between matter, color, and light, the exhibition opens up a realm of sensory and intellectual discovery which invites us to re-evaluate our own view of everyday materials… More
